The Praetor Story

In 1998 a pilot of the South African Police Airwing recognized the need for a flight helmet that could accommodate existing headsets. Conventional helmets not only cost more than what most pilots wanted to pay, but they also left them with built-in audio which wasn't their first choice.

So he set out to design something unique: a helmet made from the same high-tech materials as the big names that everyone knew so well, but which allowed pilots to fit their own preferred headsets into a safe, comfortable and very good-looking alternative - at a much lower price.

Today, Praetor Flying Helmets are flown in the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Europe and South Africa, and not only does the company offer excellent quality products, but they also give their customers outstanding service - both before and after sale.
